Luxury lingerie and swimwear brands took to the runway for Prestige Fashion’s catwalk shows at London's Old Billingsgate last week as part of the London Yacht, Jet and Prestige Car Show.
Fase di Moda kicked off the James Bond-themed swim show with its Horoscope collection, which blends the signs of Zodiac with swimwear incrusted by semi-precious birthstones and matching pareos.
Next on the catwalk was AMOIRAI with its sophisticated cut-out swimsuits, and PGM Fashion from Singapore followed with its vibrant bikinis.
PGM showcased a range of bikinis styles, including high waist briefs, bandeaus, halters and push-up tops.
Komplique closed the swim show with elegance, debuting its classic black collection in London for the first time. Its swimwear and matching cover-ups are embellished with Swarovski crystals and 18-karat gold pieces.
Heating up the Prestige Yacht & Jet Catwalk Show, lingerie brands Raine & Bea and Sonata Rapalyte showcased their latest designs, while ballet performers danced in German brand ITEM m6’s award winning tights.
The event also featured showrooms, where buyers, members of the press and consumers could visit the fashion designers over three days.
The final day ended with a presentation by Irina Dobbs’ Fase di Moda collection in collaboration with Jane Taylor, a milliner for the Royal Family and one of the Duchess of Cambridge’s favourite designers.
The presentation continued the James Bond theme at St. Katherine’s Dock on the ‘Spirit 54’ yacht, Soufriere, which featured in Casino Royale.
Founders of the Prestige Catwalk Show, Irina Dobbs and Joseph Bachman of Calico Ventures commented: “We are so pleased with the positive response from brands, retailers, press and consumers. Our aim is to collaborate with great brands from around the world to showcase their designs.
“We would like to say a big thanks to our team at Prestige Fashion, The London Yacht, Jet and Prestige Car event organisers and our sponsors. We would also like to thank all of the brands who participated for yet another wonderful event and stay tuned for the next event of Prestige Fashion.”
